Sonic Days

Sonic Days is the pulse of sound and audio innovation - a sound conference where the brightest minds in audio technology, sound design, and music production converge.

Audience of young adults sitting closely in a dimly lit room, attentively watching an event or presentation.
Audience watching a presenter standing beside a large projection screen displaying software interfaces in a dark room.
Presenter explaining a diagram projected on a screen to an audience seated in a classroom setting.

From the heart of Kolding, Denmark, the event brought together thought leaders, industry innovators, and creative talents to explore and shape the auditory experiences of the future. Reception of the new identity and wayfinding was positive from the attendees.

My Responsibilities:

- Logo design
- Wayfinding system
- Stage backdrop
- Icon design
- Program layout

About the Process:

For the first time in its history, Sonic Days attracted enough sponsors to bring on a graphic designer to elevate the identity to match the scale, professionalism, and creative energy of the conference.

This was a freelance job where i worked from home and had video calls with Lars who was in charge of the event. It was a pleasure working with Lars - since he had a clear vision for the event which he was able to communicate. Therefore, the process was smooth with very few iterations.

The Design:

We intended to take the event to the next level. The result was a confident, modular system designed to guide, welcome, and connect. From signage to stage visuals, name tags to water bottles - every touchpoint was crafted to feel intentional, adaptable, and rooted in purpose. It’s an identity that doesn’t just brand the event - it supports it. Designed to serve the people and ideas that power the future of sound.
